Job Role

  • The ability to maximise growth within the organisation by understanding the key benefits and capabilities of the business 
  • Capable to maximise revenue and growth margin from both new and existing clients
  • To operate with strong commercial awareness in the Japanese business market and ensure quality business is generated  and retained
  • Manage client relations ensuring the overall satisfaction and profitability of each client account; build relationships and create contact lists with external clients
  • Contribute to team effort to be flexible in work assignments; cover with other staff by necessity; and accomplish related tasks when it’s needed.
  • Challenge new areas of the business and delivering exemplary standards
  • Comfortable to work in an autonomous position
  • Maintain a high level understanding of the business trends and issues facing the market sector
  • Being able to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours
  • Ability to read and analyse usual business documents, write reports and correspondents, effectively respond to questions from supervisor in German and Japanese.
  • Qualifications & Experience
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Previous experience with Japanese contacts and businesses, however no experience in specific sales manager / BDM role required
