For our client, a Japanese construction company in the turnkey project range based in Düsseldorf, we are looking for a Calculator (turnkey construction). You will be offered a permanent contract in a quickly-growing company.

Work content:

• You will work project-based, from procurement of the relevant calculation bases to tender preparation and supplement calculation
• independent calculation of turnkey industrial and commercial projects in the areas of construction and outdoor facilities
• You will merge the results of the other departments, work on projects in the complete quote and order negotiation phase and create mass investigations
• You will obtain prices of materials and subcontractors and compile and prepare tender documents
• You will further develop and expand software applications, including processing and maintenance of master data for the calculation
• You report directly to the Head of Department

Your profile:

• You have successfully finished an adequate education as a civil engineer or architect
• You have excellent German and English skills
• You are familiar with the use of the CAD system Nemetschek Allplan, the VOB -compliant preparation of bills with Nemetschek BCM or equivalent construction-specific calculation program ( Arriba / iTWO ) and with other relevant software
• You have practical knowledge (at least 5 years experience in cost estimation).
• You are familiar with the intricacies of VOB.
• As a person you are characterized by professional, convincing manners and responsible and self-reliant actions. You have good communication skills and work well in a team.
